2016 Spring Study Tour to Japan

March 28, 2016

Osaka. Nara. Tokyo. Hiroshima. Thirteen students learned to navigate in these cities, met with professionals from the investment and retail sectors, prayed for favorable test scores at shrines, and heard the testimony of an atomic bomb survivor. However, the most memorable part of this trip was a two-night home stay in Hiroshima.

One of the international students had not been home for over three years and was very touched by his host family’s warmth and hospitality. They made a lasting connection, which inspired him to sign up for Japanese I next year.
