Bringing the World to Hawai'i’s Youth
PAAC empowers Hawaiʻi high school students with the skills to be the global leaders of tomorrow. Our award-winning High School Global Education Program (HSGEP) uses non-traditional, experiential learning to engage and excite students about global issues while developing students' skills in leadership, empathy, critical thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration.
PAAC's HSGEP includes student-led clubs, after-school global studies classes, inter-school conferences and competitions, global action service projects, study tours to Asia and the Pacific, and over $120,000 in academic and travel scholarships to support students annually.
In partnership with the East-West Center Arts Program, workshops are offered annually for Hawaiʻi K-12 teachers to enrich their classes and curriculum with elements of Asia-Pacific art and culture.
