The PAAC Global Issues Certificate, certified by the United Nations CIFAL Honolulu Center at Chaminade University and UNITAR, offers Hawaiʻi high school students a unique opportunity to delve into global and local issues, develop critical skills, and contribute to the global conversation on sustainable development. Through our program, you'll engage in hands-on learning, develop your leadership on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, participate in exciting competitions, and lead a service project that addresses a global issue, all while gaining insights into how diverse perspectives shape our world.
Join a community of passionate young leaders who are committed to making a difference! As you work towards this prestigious certificate, you'll deepen your understanding of global challenges, develop key research and analytical skills, and learn how to communicate effectively across cultures. Plus, students who complete the program are eligible for a $1,000 travel scholarship and a chance to join a PAAC-organized Study Tour.
